The Site of the Stars Makes Me Dream

Van Gogh quote illustrated by Seb Lester

I know nothing with any certainty, but the site of the stars makes me dream.

A quote by a man who needs no introduction, Vincent Van Gogh.

Magnificently illustrated quote by London based type designer, illustrator, and artist by the name of Seb Lester. Check out his website at He has created typefaces and type illustrations for some of the world’s biggest companies, publications and events, including the likes of Apple, Nike, Intel, The New York Times, The 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and J.D. Salinger’s final reissue of The Catcher in the Rye. He is passionate about letterforms.

SIT is a killer artist based out of Amsterdam. He straight up crushes it with raw talent when it comes to illustration as exemplified through his technical mastery, creativity, and dynamic use of contrast. His new series is called NOIR and for the first time was presented last weekend at Blooom/Art Fair 21 in Cologne. To see an interview and more images click more below.

Ridiculous Animation: Donato Sansone’s VideoGioco

You wouldn’t think that someone could make a particularly impressive animation with their hands, manually flipping each page on the screen, but everything about this project is amazing. The art, the idea, the application, execution and even the audio element all compliment each other so well, make this an incredibly creative and majestic feat.
