SIT is a killer artist based out of Amsterdam. He straight up crushes it with raw talent when it comes to illustration as exemplified through his technical mastery, creativity, and dynamic use of contrast. His new series is called NOIR and for the first time was presented last weekend at Blooom/Art Fair 21 in Cologne. To see an interview and more images click more below.

Welcome to LA…

Banksy gets wild with the opening sequence for The Simpson’s!

Street Artist Banksy directed a ridiculous version of the famous opening sequence for The Simpson’s! And just like Banksy, we all love capitalism and consumer culture, especially when slave labor, unicorns and dolphin heads are involved!

“MoneyBart”, which is the name of the episode in which the themed opening sequence, featuring Banksy’s name written on some of the famous Springfield landmarks, was (according to the BBC), apparently inspired by reports the show outsources the bulk of their animation to a company in South Korea. The episode was screened in the US over the weekend and will hit UK screens later this month on October 21.

Thanks to Tommy for this golden nugget!

MEAR ONE Gets Down on La Brea!

MEAR ONE goes HUGE on La Brea and 6th, this wall is insane! Mad props to an artist who kills it on so many levels.

The works of MEAR ONE are meant to bring the unseen mysteries locked with in our minds to the foreground as if to take part in a grand expose`. The question of how did we become, and why. To see through the illusion of our decrepit social condition and speak out with art as a weapon of mass liberation.

MEAR sees himself as a messenger as well a spiritual warrior using his imagination as a communication device.

After experiencing Ekundayo’s show “Never Falling” at LA’s Thinkspace Gallery, I was compelled to share the love.
